On a Johnson outboard I need the rubber gasket that goes on the engine cover. Where do i get one new or used?

1978 70hp Johnson outboard motor.
I have three of them in My shed, but You should be able to get one from any boat repair shop in Your home town, they junk out motors all the time..

http://www.marinepartssource.com has tons of Johnson and aftermarket parts, and they have parts books online so you can look up the part number you need…

Do a search for Sea-Way Marine in Seattle. If anybody has one they will.

first try an OMC dealer. at that age it’s probably not available. pull up "used outboard parts" on your search engine.
