I clean it off between uses but it always come back. I keep it in a garage with a canvas door. Is there something I can use to keep the mildew away. TY.

wash W/1 parr bleach ro 9 parts water. dry and let set in the sun if possible. Spray W/frrebreeze unscented. let dry. Sprinkle W/unscented baby powerr. This should stop mildew from coming back . If it does increase blealch mixture and let sit and dry on it’s own before follow thru. If you cover you will create moistrure so if you can leave uncovered it is for the best……………….. hope this helps..

Contact Marine Mildew Doctor. They have some products that will keep the mildew from returning. marinemildewdoctor.com. It is technology being used in hospitals to kill the mildew before it forms. Really amazing stuff!

Snowflake, mildew is an organism that grows back after you have wiped some of it off. You need to kill it, and the easiest thing to use is a 1/2 cup of household bleach in a half-gallon of water. After you clean the seats, make up this solution, and use a spray bottle to spray the solution onto the seats, and let it dry. Respray a day later.
Throw away any solution remaining, or use it in the bathrooms.

I also suggest that you pull back the canvas door and let the air blow through the building, as mildew does not like dry areas.

    Regards,

I’m no expert on this subject and my boating days are over ( just for
now) but, allow more air circulation within your storage “tent” especially
after it’s just back home from the water. You are experiencing high
moisture in that storage unit and you need to drop the humidity.

You might even try some desiccant bags. You’ll need to find
the right size proportionate to your storage area.

I hope this helps a bit. Remember not to put anything slippery on the
seats. I watched a friend do a cartwheel off of mine when I made the
horrible mistake of using armor all…

    Good luck to you..
