We get a lot of questions about our Pontoon Boat Enclosures. Terry who owns a 2011 Bentley Pontoon Boat recently asked;

Q – What is the turnaround time for your pontoon boat enclosure? DO you custom fit the pontoon boat, or manufacture it just on measurements?

A – We are able to use the measurements and pictures you send to us to recreate your boat rails in our facility. Then we custom fit to those rails. You get the best of both worlds this way; your enclosure is custom fitted to your boat without having to actually have your boat in our facility.

You should always purchase the enclosure canvas for your boat during the boating off season or certain times of year when a discount sale is on.

During the off season, canvas shops are looking to keep busy which is a great time for you to do negotiate a good deal for your new or used boat.

In a lot cases you can get discounts on all the options for new canvas such as;

Nylon screens sewn into the curtains to give you air-flow for those hot humid days of summer.

Privacy curtains installed to make your enclosure more comfortable and private when your on the boat over night, weekends and holidays.

Today I thought I would share some of the common questions that people
ask us in determining what type of enclosure would best suit their boat?

1. What is the difference between the Half Enclosure and the 8×8 Quick Enclosure.

The Half Enclosure is custom fit and comes with a slant stern curtain creating more covered space on your boat and includes framework. The 8×8 is a universal fit that fits on your existing framework and all the curtains hang straight down enclosing an 8 feet x 8 feet area.

2. Can I get a half enclosure with a half playpen cover to protect the upholstery up front?

We do not manufacture half playpen covers. We recommend our Slant Front Full Enclosure, which sells for the same price as a half enclosure – half palypen. And the slant curtain on the front of your pontoon provides more covered space and sheds rain more effectively
than the flat half plapen cover.The Slant Front Full Enclosure would best suit your needs. The boat is completely covered and you can always add on the camper front later
if you so wish.

3. What is included in the Full Camper Enclosure?

Our Camper Enclosures come with 2 bimini tops, side curtains through
out, front and stern curtains.4. What options can I add to my new enclosure?

We have options for fabric upgrade to Sunbrella. Screens are available
for the front, stern and side curtains. Privacy curtains are available
in polyester and Sunbrella. We also offer bimini top storage boots in
